Teen English ONLINE! for Grade 7 & 8

Service Description

Teenagers get busy at this age and there is little time left to commute to English classes once a week. Class Acts brings the English lessons to teenagers' rooms. Teenagers can benefit from using modern technology in their cosy rooms and study English with Class Acts! The online sessions take place via Google Classroom. Prior to the virtual meeting, children are given tasks and work to complete. These tasks will cover English language skills (grammar, use of language, language comprehension, vocabulary), creative writing, reading and critical thinking. Children can communicate with the teacher through Google Classroom whenever they need: ask questions, complete, submit tasks, and students will receive the teacher's feedback. Class format: there are 12 online sessions per school year and 4 face-to-face sessions (fortnightly). Lesson duration: 60 min. Student books: Fiction, Non-Fiction and Grammar books by Christopher Edge, Don Shiach and Geoff Barton, Oxford. Who attends: Age: 12-13 years old Bilingual children (English) English as a second language, minimum level B2 Mondays 18:30-19:30 Dates: Course starts on 16th September. Fee: 8 200 CZK / school year Fee includes 16 sessions. Fee does not include student books. Kids will receive the books at the beginning of the course. This course is prepaid. Fee does not include price for student books and materials. The books fee: 900,- Kč / set. Cancellation Policy

Refunds for missed classes are not possible. For details please read our Course Terms and Conditions. Event participation is transferable so a friend or family member can attend the class you miss. This rule does not apply only for events not for pre-paid regular courses.
