Service Description

Reading in English opens the door to better language skills, broader vocabulary, and stronger thinking but just as importantly, it’s a way for children to connect, imagine, and share ideas. English reader's club is a special opportunity for young English speakers to enjoy stories, talk about books, and explore their creativity together. WHO IS IT FOR Fluent English speaker aged 6-9 Quick check: ✓ Want to learn English through stories • ✓ Ready for small-group learning • ✓ Benefits from being among English-speaking kids Unsure if it’s right? Sign up just for one workshop, Let your child (and you) experience it, then decide. SCHEDULE Saturdays, 9:30–11:00 Dates 2026: 17. 1., 7. 2., 14. 3., 18. 4. SESSION FLOW - Children receive a reading list at the start of the year and are encouraged to read the selected books (either independently or with a parent, grandparent, or sibling) - Sessions begins with lively and moderated talk about given book - Fun language-based activities - Creative project connected to the story BOOKS TO READ - TERM II 1. The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen (please read till 7th February) about the book: Gerda’s friend Kay is missing! The Snow Queen has taken him to her ice palace, far away, and now brave Gerda must find him and bring him back home... 2. Follow the Swallow by Julia Donaldson (please read till 14th March) about the book: When Apollo the swallow flies to Africa, Chack the blackbird wants to send him a message. But Africa is far away. Can a jumpy dolphin, a grumpy camel, a greedy crocodile or a playful monkey help to deliver the message? 3. A Colourful Wish by Noel Grammont (please read till 18th April) about the book: Pipkin is a most extraordinary rabbit who discovers that he has a surprising talent. 4. Cock a Doodle-Doo, Mr. Sultana! by Michael Morpurgo (please read till 6th June) about the boo: This rich and greedy sultan loves his jewels more than anything. So when he loses a diamond button he is very angry. He wants his jewel back! Cancellation Policy

Refunds for missed classes are not possible. Event participation is transferable so a friend or family member can attend the class you miss.
