A warm, 90-minute class that blends English, play and real-world topics. Children practise early reading and writing, learn simple classroom rules and build confidence — all in English. Perfect for children getting ready for school, building basic social skills and positive school habits. It’s hands-on and joyful (stories, songs, movement, games) with a gentle academic focus, so skills grow naturally. If it sounds right for your child, come for a free trial lesson. WHAT WILL CHILDREN LEARN - Using English as an everyday language - Phonics and early reading - Early writing and classroom English - School habits SESSION FLOW - Weekly, 90 minutes in small groups - English & phonics — 30 min: playful sound work and early reading skills - Circle & play time — 30 min: stories, music, movement and cooperative games - Topic time — 30 min: hands-on activities on familiar themes (family, food, nature) — learning through English, not just about English What to bring: pencil case with coloured pencils and a pen; small notepad; small snack and drink WHAT WILL CHILDREN BUILD - Early writing: letter formation, short, happy writing - School habits: listen, take turns, follow routines, tidy up - Social confidence: cooperate kindly, ask for help politely, stay on task - Listening skills: focus through stories, songs and games - Classroom English: everyday words, useful phrases and Q&A patterns - Fine-motor skills: tracing, colouring and pre-writing WHY CLASS ACTS - The only Prague community for English-speaking kids - Home for bilingual families & expats - Warm, professional and experienced teachers - 20 years experience in bilingual education COURSE FEE 7 200 CZK / semester incl. student books Payment: This is a prepaid course.
