An online English course for fluent teens who need flexibility without losing quality. Live lessons plus independent tasks keep reading and writing strong; feedback is personal and timely; travel time is zero. WHO IS IT FOR Fluent English-speaking students in Grades 7–9 who want to maintain high-level English, strengthen academic reading and writing. SCHEDULE Mondays, 18:30–19:30 Frequency: 12 online sessions, 4 in-person sessions WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN - Advanced reading and writing for academic purposes - Grammar and vocabulary in context (precision, style, register) - Literary and non-fiction analysis (argument, evidence, inference) - Critical thinking and discussion skills - Study skills for secondary school (planning, drafting, editing) - Working online SESSION FLOW - Weekly, 60 minutes live online (Google Meet) + independent tasks via Google Classroom - Live session: discussion, close reading/writing focus, Q&A, next-steps briefing - Independent work: reading comprehension, grammar/vocabulary in context, creative and analytical writing - Teacher feedback: individual comments and targets on submitted work - Contact sessions: 4 in-person meet-ups across the year for workshops, projects and community WHAT WILL STUDENTS BUILD - Writing: clear structure, effective paragraphs, accurate punctuation and varied style - Reading: close reading, annotation, inference, main ideas and supporting evidence - Vocabulary & grammar: precise word choice, control of complex sentences - Speaking & listening: concise contributions, respectful debate, presentation skills - Critical thinking: evaluate sources, compare viewpoints, justify opinions WHY CLASS ACTS - The only Prague community for English-speaking kids - Home for bilingual families & expats - 20 years experience in bilingual education COURSE FEE Semester I: 3 600 CZK / semester Semester II: 3 600 CZK / semester Newcomers receive set of books, approx fee: 1 900 CZK / set PAYMENT This is a prepaid course. Cancellation Policy
Welcome to Class Acts. Our courses are designed to make English learning fun, creative and engaging, helping children build confidence through play, stories, drama and meaningful communication. All Class Acts courses are prepaid, with the option to split the fee into two or more instalments. Registration is completed through our booking system, and we are happy to arrange a payment schedule that works for you. Please note that, as places are reserved for the full course, we are unable to offer refunds for individual missed classes.
