By the time students reach upper primary, their schedules are full — but their need for meaningful English practice hasn’t gone away. This course is designed for children in Grades 5–8 who have already built a strong foundation in English and want to keep their language alive, sharp, and evolving. The mixed-age format brings together motivated learners who support, challenge, and inspire each other. Sessions are structured but flexible, allowing space for advanced language work, discussion, and exploration of real-world topics — all in English. The curriculum follows models used in U.K. and U.S. schools and focuses on writing, vocabulary growth, critical thinking, and collaborative learning. The group dynamic plays a key role in keeping students engaged, especially as they move into their teen years. Who it’s for: Children in Grades 5–8 who speak and understand English and want to continue growing with it. Class structure: 50 minutes: Language Skills (reading, writing, discussion, vocabulary) 10 minutes: Snack break and Circle Time 30 minutes: Topic Time — Science, Geography, History, Social Studies, or Math in English Course length: 32 sessions per school year Schedule: Thursdays, 15:30–17:00 Course starts: September 18, 2025 Dates I. Kids Grade 4-7 can join Write & Think English, an English writing club. Club meets once a month and offer fun, creative ways to deepen child’s relationship with English through stories, writing, and creative activities.
