For fluent English speakers in a mixed-age teenage group, this course supports confident, advanced English use through engaging, age-appropriate learning. Students strengthen their reading, develop clear writing, and improve accuracy while exploring real-world topics. The course is open to newcomers as well as children continuing their Class Acts learning path. SCHEDULE Wednesdays, 15:30–17:00 (90 minutes) Course starts on September 16 2026 WHAT WILL CHILDREN LEARN - Using English every day with confident, precise expression - Reading & writing (paragraphing, clarity, purposeful grammar and vocabulary) - Critical & creative thinking (explain, justify, connect ideas across topics) SESSION FLOW - Weekly, 90 minutes in small groups - Language Skills — 50 min: reading fluency, sentence writing, vocabulary building, phonics/spelling. - Snack & Circle Time — 10 min: conversation, sharing news, routines and class community. - Topic Time — 30 min: hands-on projects in Science/Geography/History/Social Studies/Maths, learning through English, not just about English. WHAT WILL CHILDREN BUILD - Spelling & phonics: common patterns, tricky words, simple self-check tips - Writing: neat sentences with capitals and full stops; short, clear paragraphs - Speaking & listening: explain clearly, take turns, join whole-class talk - Reading: sound out confidently, read aloud with expression, get the main idea - Thinking skills: notice, compare, explain, create - Study habits: organised books, easy note-taking, pride in finished work WHY CLASS ACTS - The only Prague community for English-speaking kids - Home for bilingual families & expats - Warm, professional and experienced teachers - 20 years experience in bilingual education COURSE FEE EARLY BIRD till 15th August 2026 (register and pay) Semester I: 7 200 CZK / semester incl. all materials and books Semester II: 7 200 CZK / semester incl. all materials and books PAYMENT This is a prepaid course.
