About the event
Dive beneath the waves and join us for five mornings of playful English at our Under the Sea English Day Camp.
Designed for children aged 4–8, the camp takes young explorers on a new ocean adventure every day. We will meet colourful fish, dolphins, turtles, jellyfish and mysterious deep-sea creatures. We will explore coral reefs, travel in a submarine, visit icy polar seas and follow clues to a hidden underwater treasure.
At the heart of each morning is storytelling and bookmaking. Children listen to engaging English picture books and sea-inspired stories, act out characters and adventures through movement and drama, and use new words in a natural, meaningful way. They then turn their ideas into pages for their own Under the Sea book, adding drawings, simple English words, characters and story scenes throughout the week.
