About the event

Storytelling at Korunní originated as a promo support of the bookdrive that the non-profit organisation ClassActs organised in 2014. Its result was a collection of about 1400 books for children – most of them to be found at Korunní branch. The main aim of the program is to show Czech families that English children’s books are nothing to be afraid of, and to encourage English-speaking families to explore the wide selection available.

Storytelling is composed of short scenes, stories, songs, rhymes… It is in English but thanks to the visual support even beginners will understand. Storytelling usually lasts for about 30-45 minutes. Thanks to volunteer readers, entrance is free of charge; there is no need to book the seats in advance.

Where: Prague Municipal Library, Korunní 68, 1st floor
