Readers' Club (7-10 years) 2022/2023

Service Description

The Readers’ Club is designed for children fluent in English. It provides them with a unique opportunity to share and discuss books in English, which they might not otherwise be able to do. The Readers’ Club meets 5 times a year and is led by a qualified reading and literacy teacher. Children don’t need to be fluent readers and can read the chosen title with their parents. There are 5 sessions in 2022/2023. Dates: 2022: 8.10, 3.12, 14.1. 2023: 24.3, 20.5 Time: 10-11am Venue: Korunní Municipal Library, Korunní 68, Prague 2 Books: The Dragonsitter by Josh Lacey (for the session on October 8) Wishtree by Katherine Applegate (for the session on December 3) Friendship According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney (for the session on January 14) The One & Only Bob by Katherine Applegate (for the session on March 25) Flora & Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo (for the session on May 20) - all books will be available on Amazon and Book Depository. The books are not provided by Class Acts. Fee: 2 000,- Kč / school year This course is pre-paid. Books are not included in the course fee. Cancelation Policy

Refunds for missed classes are not possible. For details please read our Course Terms and Conditions. Event participation is transferable so a friend or family member can attend the class you miss. This rule does not apply only for events not for pre-paid regular courses.
